I slept well last night and then began the day playing with the grand kids again. We had a very nice playful morning. We had lunch from Choo Choo’s BBQ and had everything except BBQ!! It was all excellent, especially their corn nuggets!! After lunch, we watched the eclipse by walking out onto the patio a few times and using our eclipse glasses. It was fascinating and I’m glad we got to watch it and that we didn’t go anywhere special to watch it. Nature is amazing!!!
After that we all packed up and drove to Roswell and I’ll spend a couple of days here before going home. I must say that I am very tired, having had no nap today. It’s not yet 8 pm but I’ve already had my shower and will be the first one to bed tonight!! That’s fine with me!!
I have had numb and crawling lips today and a LOT of creepy crawling skin on my scalp and face – at least it felt like it was crawling!! I’ve had diarrhea but no nausea so that’s okay. I’m just very tired and I expect it’s a combination of chemo and grand kids and eclipse excitement!! Since I’ve been eating some sugar, and drinking Sprite, my arthritic knee is making itself known again!
