A busy day

September 3, 2017 Sunday

I slept well, with the help of NyQuil, and I woke up not coughing which is always nice. As a matter of fact, I didn’t cough for about a half hour after I got up – that’s a record!!  For the rest of the day, I’d say my coughing only happened about half as often as the day before so that’s a definite improvement. Yay!!!

I spent a nice morning at home until 10:00 when I left and drove to Athens, GA.  It was a nice 3 hour drive through the beautiful countryside and I really enjoyed it.  I picked up some items we bought for one of Frank’s hobbies and then I drove on to Roswell.  That was another nice drive but it was mostly on interstates so it was not quite as scenic or calm.

Once I got to Roswell, I got to meet some of Frank’s police buddies and then got to play with the grandkids.  They sure are a lively pair of kids.  They even sprayed each other with the water hose and got soaking wet but they had a great time doing it.  Then it was time for a bath and bed.  I look forward to lots more playing tomorrow.

The only side effect today was a little diarrhea and even that was not a big problem.

Morning weight – 219
